I say work with your parts, pick which ever side you want and seperate the part and sweep it back pinning if you have to and finger sweep the other side over into a side bang. Maybe add a head band your another hair piece, you will be surprise how different a hair piece can make your hair look. No worries shake your hair and run yours fingers through it and soon enough something will catch your eye.
I've been sisterlocked for 8 months. I tried this this past weekend, just after washing my hair. While it was still damp, I twisted my locks into bantus. After about 20 minutes I took them down. The effect is that it stretches your hair and gives the ends a little bit of a curl. It's now 3 days later and people are still commenting on how much my hair has grown and how good it looks.
I'm 23 years old and a Graduate student at La Salle University. I am studying to be a marriage and family therapist and will be done in about a year and a half, assuming that i go to school year round. i am hoping to come to terms with my hair and end the war that has been going on for the last 23 years. will sisterlocks be the answer? we shall see! My installation date is 10/1/2008.

Have you tried setting your hair on small rollers for a curly look?
