- I'm 23 years old and a Graduate student at La Salle University. I am studying to be a marriage and family therapist and will be done in about a year and a half, assuming that i go to school year round. i am hoping to come to terms with my hair and end the war that has been going on for the last 23 years. will sisterlocks be the answer? we shall see! My installation date is 10/1/2008.

Thinking of getting inked for my b/day, but am doubtful as to whether I'm brave enough. I'm such a coward when it comes to pain.

didn't hurt too bad at all but i wouldn't go by my opinion because i have a pretty high threshold for pain...at the most its an inconvenience lol.
if it helps n'drea your body doesn't have pain memory so while it may hurt when you're getting it done you won't remember what the pain was like...all you'll be able to say is: "yeah, it hurt." GO FOR IT!
Ooh, I missed this. I've been wanting a tattoo for a while. I really like the lotus. Thanks for giving me an idea.
